Inductive proximity switch

Working principle: Inductive proximity switch is a kind of position sensor with switch output, which is composed of LC high frequency oscillator and amplifying processing circuit. When a metal object approaches this oscillating sensor head that can generate electromagnetic field, the vortex will be generated inside the object. This vortex reacts on the proximity switch, which attenuates the oscillation ability of the proximity switch, and changes the parameters of the internal circuit. Thereby it will identify whether there is a metal object approaching, and then control the on or off of the switch.
